In a new video from Home Workout Revolution creator Craig Ballantyne, Craig explains how home workouts with bodyweight exercises can be much more beneficial than regular cardiovascular exercise.
The video mentions recent studies where subjects that performed bodyweight exercises like burpies, jumping jacks, and pushups got much better results in muscular endurance than those doing cardio exercise such as treadmill and elliptical machines. Not only do people get better muscular endurance with bodyweight exercises, they were also able to achieve the same cardiovascular fitness level as their counterparts that did cardio exercises only.
